Egg Cutlet















Cutlet recipes are common everywhere. But i was surprised to see the recipe of Egg Cutlet by Mrs.Lakshmi Nair(Kairali TV). I have decided to work on the same..:)..and frankly speaking, that was a great success and it came tastier than i expected!..Thanks a lot Lakshmi :)

7 nos.

1.Egg-3
2.Onion(fine chopped) - ¾ cup
3.Green chillies(chopped) – 5 nos
4.Ginger(fine chopped) – 1 tbspn
5.Turmeric powder – 2 pinch
6.Garam Masala - ½ tspn
7.Oil – 1 tbspn
8.Salt
9.Bread Pieces – 4 nos
10.Maida – 2 tspn
11.Egg White – 1
12.Bread powder - ½ cup

>Heat the vessel. Add 1 tspn oil and then add ingredients(2-6) to the oil. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add 3 eggs to the masala and scramble well. Add salt to taste. Never allow it to dry. Take the egg-masala mixture from the flame.
>Soak the bread pieces in water and squeeze it out. Mix the squeezed bread with the already made egg-masala mixture.
>Mix maida, egg white & water to produce a loose batter.(It should not be thick)
>Make the bread mixture in to small balls and press it with hands to get desirable shape.
Dip it in loose batter and then roll it in bread powder.
>Fry them up & down till it become brown.

    most of these raw materials aren't available to poor pravaasi folks such as myself.

    Eluppam ondaakkavunna onnum ille? .. without cocunut, maida, tamarind, etc. :)
